A number of our customers have opted for a contemporary design where the chimney system offers an addition to the overall feature of the wood burning stove.

Chimney Lining
When installing a wood burning stove or multi fuelled stove, due to new regulations it maybe necessary to have the chimney relined. The chimney liner is there to ensure safe usage of your stove by preventing carbon monoxide leaking into other areas of the property. Another main advantage of lining is to increase the performance and efficiency of the flue and will also prevent the build of tar within the flue which is a potential fire hazard. A wood stove or multi fuel stove can be up to 80% efficient in comparison to open fires which might be as low as 20%.

When Yorkshire Stoves Direct visit your property we will survey the current chimney setup and advised you about the current condition of the chimney liner. If we find your chimney does require relining, we can offer this service as part of our installation.

Waste Disposal

Before we commence work we ensure that the work area is full covered with protective sheeting and when our work is completed, using a company called ‘hippo waste’ we make sure the waste we’ve produced also is removed from your home.
